My daughter in law had a problem after having her car serviced whereby they had disconnected the battery. Almost like a trap. The servicing garage said they could only send the car off to the main dealer for the security code and quoted an incredible price. The main dealer (Renault) said the cost would be cheaper than the servicing garage had quoted, however, at £60+ for labour per hour or part thereof again the cost was over the top and through no fault of her own. She hadn`t mentioned it to me for several weeks and I assisted her by going through her service manual to find the code to no avail. I went on the web and saw `onlineradiocodes` and made the necessary application with the small fee. In less than half an hour she was driving away with full use of her audio system. One in the face for main dealers and service garages I feel.
