After replacing my battery my radio didn't work and, as I had bought the car second hand, I didn't have the code. Followed the instructions to get my serial number (which was easy) and enter this into the relevant field and hey presto, within less than a minute received an email with the code. Yes it costs £9.99 but well worth every penny and I have now noted it in the booklet so not something I will have to pay out again.
