The shirt is soft and comfortable. However, it’s definitely not odor resistant. I recently went on a trip out of the country and I tested this shirt vs a merino wool shirt. I wanted this shirt to be better than merino wool because this is about half the cost. Unfortunately, it’s not close to merino wool. The shirt is nice, but if you’re using this for travel, I would suggest merino wool if your minimalist traveler
