The hemp is hefty but soft. The bamboo is silky. The color choices are lovely and hard to find elsewhere. The quality is fantastic. These are the best t-shirts I've ever owned. I buy them as gifts and recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality, sustainably produced garments. My only quibble is that I've had some issues with sizing: my women's XL hemp shirt is much smaller than the same size in bamboo.
