I'm not a big jazz fan. I like the more accessible versions of jazz—coffee shop jazz, easy listening jazz. But I wanted to learn to improvise, and jazz is good for that. I did Pianote/Musora for a year (fancy!), and I bought the Piano4All courses (boring!).
Open Studio is far and away the best choice. The teachers are kind and encouraging and very knowledgeable. The lessons are broken down into easy-ish sessions (you can always repeat a class, of course (which I do a lot)).
And there's SO MUCH HERE! You could never run out of classes or courses or live Q&As or deep dives.
Even though I'm a life-long musician, I'm learning a lot.
Highly recommended.
