“I’ve been a member of Open Studio for about two months now, and it has already been a very fun and inspiring experience. Before joining I had taken some lessons with a teacher and studied from books and random videos, but I often struggled to organize everything and make real sense of it. Open Studio helped me start putting the pieces together in a more practical way. Adam Maness is an incredible teacher. He has a way of explaining things that makes them feel clear and approachable. Even though it’s still early for me to fully measure my progress, I can already feel that I’m growing. It has also influenced the way I think about music in general, and that has helped me as a classical piano teacher too. The community is another big part of the experience. It’s motivating to see others learning, sharing, and evolving. You don’t feel alone in the process. I would recommend Open Studio Jazz to anyone, at any level. It’s a place where you can grow, stay inspired, and genuinely enjoy the journey.”

“am just getting started after being away from Jazz iano alot of years. I think approach in lessons I have done so far is good - some theory, sample music from Artisis to listen to, and Guided approach leesons are all well done. Thanks!”

“When you waste more time trying to look for things than learn on the site somethings wrong ! Where did the backing tracks go that I was using? Where did the separate courses go that you can buy once you mastered your last one ? Monthly or Yearly subscriptions will cost more in the long run depending on how long you stay on each section so you are being penalized for staying longer on a section. My opinion! Disappointed…..”

“I took piano lessons for 6 aimless years when I was a kid. I stopped at age 13, took up guitar and bass for next 40 years and enjoyed it a lot. But when COVID hit, I took up the piano again. I was teaching myself with various online resources. But a family member bought me a membership for Christmas '25 and I dove in with gusto. It has been amazing! I have shown incredible growth with Peter and Adam showing me the ropes. The Jazz Jumpstart, Beginner Jazz and Jazz Chords courses have me sounding so much better. The explanations of concepts like "root shell pretty" have resulted in some real breakthroughs. I love the GPS and printed materials. It's all so useful and has become the basis of my practice routine. Thank you! Open Studio is amazing!”
