“It's been a blast so far. I tried and touched few courses so far and enjoyed everything so far. I'm still searching as to which direction to go into ... but hey, that's the fun just experimenting. I intend to be here for the long haul. I truly enjoy Peter and Adam and still working on their courses. I've also enjoyed Caili Jazz Primer. “I’ve seen and tried a lot of YouTube and internet jazz-teachers and guru’s, but Open Studio is the real deal! A league of it’s own. Sincere, open minded and with respect to the wonderful world of jazz. You open up my ears and mind and there is a lifetime worth of materials and inspiration on the site, and growing. I’m happy practicing, long journey ahead, but loving every step of it. Thanks for sharing!”

“Dear Open Studio, I’m a reasonably accomplished jazz-, pop-, and gospel pianist, and I am 52 years old. I’ve played with different types of band, have played solo, accompanied singers and other instrumentalist, played with symphony orchestras, and I’ve gained quite a lot of experience over the years. This course has opened my eyes in so many ways. I’m been aware of so many things I’ve done, but haven’t understood why I have done it, things I’ve heard others do, but not knowing what they do - now I understand it. I’ve gone from practising and preparing for the next project and concert, to practising 1, 2, 3, 4 hours a day, just for the shear fun of it. “Been a member for 2 months now. Great lessons for every skill level and plenty of possibilities to practice with play-alongs. I have the feeling I am learning and improving every day. The demos are cool and the transcriptions great, however they are way beyond my level of improvisation. Sometimes i wonder how I'm doing in respect to what's expected. There IS the possibility to ask for feedback in the forum (the Hang) though. Maybe I'm gonna try that out soon. As good as it gets for online / video lessons and a great community.”

“Best jazz piano course I've seen. I am a long time jazz listener, and amateur drummer. I wanted to dig into piano, and I have learned a lot from the Piano Jump Start course and now digging into the next courses. It has allowed me to have a lot of fun and get a much better understanding of Jazz music in general. Lessons have good structure and pace, and the teachers are awesome.”

“I love it, its not just getting knowledge, and seeing practicing from a different angle, and biting music from a different side, but .. when I hear you talk about music , I feel so good, so enlightened, so motivated and being a part of a journey that is also for me, and that I am not so bad at playing as I thought:) I feel more confident about playing, your school also builds a psyhological attitude to me as a pianist”
