“Open Jazz Studio has made a huge difference in my jazz piano playing. Since I started taking these lessons, I’ve made more progress than I ever expected. Things that used to feel complicated or out of reach are finally starting to make sense, and most importantly, I’m actually able to use what I’m learning when I sit down at the piano. What I love about Open Jazz Studio is that the lessons don’t just teach you chords, voicings, and progressions. They help you understand how jazz actually works and how to start thinking and playing like a jazz musician. I feel much more confident at the keyboard, I have a much better understanding of harmony, and I’m becoming more comfortable finding my own way through a tune. The lessons are clear, practical, and incredibly motivating. Very often, I finish a lesson and immediately want to sit down at the piano and try everything out. Looking back at where I started, the progress I’ve made has been incredible. Open Jazz Studio has become a huge part of my jazz piano journey, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone who wants to improve their playing and really understand this amazing music.”

“"Juste merci!" as we say in France. After years of struggling to make progress at the piano and aftetr slowly starting to dislike the process of learning and seeing the instrument as a threat, I've finally started to enjoy music again. Open Studio is such a good platform to make tangible, quick and long-run progress on the (jazz) piano. I think it could be a tiny bit simpler and progressive in the way it is taught to make things more accessible. But all in all, this is a minor caveat compared to all the teachings I've learnt in a few weeks. Everything is musical, appliable to real life situations and will make any jazz musicians grow. As for future requests, a pop-oriented, blues or funk oriented class would be awesome: "jazz in the context of modern music", "jazz for modern procuders", "infuse your songs with gospel and blues". To get that extra flavor in a more general context, and not only applied to jazz. The best platform for jazz piano online, thanks Adam, Peter, Bob and the whole team! :)”
