“Too bad I spent most of my life playing guitar, divorced it for Sax and Jazz. Wish I could play 1/4 of what I played in Guitar on the Piano. I use piano for analizing harmony, leading notes,etc, doing that on the Guitar is a mind bender and ball-buster! Love Open Studio¡”

“OS has an entire ecosystem for learning. Lessons, exercises, and jams with some awesome musicians. I love that the practice sessions are with real and excellent musicians. Plus a podcast with listening guides! The whole OS world is immersive and is the best service I’ve found to learn the whole of music.”

“Amazing resource for beginners to intermediate to advanced. As a college teacher and long-time player, I learn new approaches with which to teach my students, and new approaches (or old approaches presented in fresh ways) for my own artistry. My favorite classes so far are the Geoff Keezer workshops and I am a total Barry Harris convert now after the Chris Parks classes. Anything else you can do on that would be amazing. Would also love to see the work of other notable pedagogues presented, such as Jerry Bergonzi or Hal Crook, or the method David Hazeltine uses to create etudes from solos (these might be already explored elsewhere... I haven't seen every course yet). Bravo! Some of my students hipped me to your site and I am hooked.”
