“so far your content has been great. I massively appreciate the GPSs. Its just a sad fact of life that with my regular day job I am unable to practice one each day. I have not found it yet, so I apologize if its there and I am just too green to figure it out, but I would appreciate a complete guide to scale fingerings... what are good standard fingerings to practice scale runs, especially scales like blues, WH, various modes, etc.... having a libary where I can just pick any random scale and see a good standard fingering would be awesome... e.g. hey, I need a D Altered Scale... what is the best way to do a run over 2 octaves...”

“I’m enjoying access to OpenStudio’s lessons and guided practice session very much. I’ve been away from my piano for some time and as I return with a more focused interest in my playing, I’ve come to realize that what I need is a consistent and structured plan on how and what to practice. With the Jazz Piano for Beginners, I’m building a vocabulary of musical concepts and practices that contribute to a clearer understanding of the music I’m playing, both in the course and in music outside the course. Thanks so much to Peter and Adam for their excellent teaching. I’m now looking to decide on what my next Open Studio course might be; might you have a suggestions or two on a follow-up course.
