We checked out the initial offer on a lark assuming it would be ridiculously low. We had tried to sell our house the traditional way almost two years ago and it was a trying experience, the showings and realtors and ridiculous offers. We engaged a couple ibuyers and investors and their offers were laughable. So needless to say we weren’t expecting much from Opendoor. Were we totally surprised!! The initial offer was good. So of course we expected the virtual walkthrough to be a beating and the final offer would be insulting. Nope! Our agent Johny was great, easy to deal with, professional. And the final offer was higher! We kept waiting for something to go wrong, something to fall apart, some loophole. But it never happened. Smooth sailing all the way through. We couldn’t be more pleased with Opendoor. They have a great formula and honest upfront valuations that are very fair. We would definitely use their service again!
