I booked a flight with Ryan air through Opodo. Ryan air later emailed me to tell me I'd booked through a third party which is not authorised to make bookings. I was forced to pay additionalk fees for the booking to be honoured.
I had already made a second booking I made through Opodo. This time the airline cancelled the flight as they were no longer flying from that airport. I requested a refund and this was processed by Wizzair, however I could not complete the final step as I needed to be the booking owner. I spoke to Opodo who assured me this would be done on their side, and I would receive my refund within 15 days. A month later and with no news or advice I called - I spent 40 mintutes waiting to speak to someone only to be told I needed to speak to Wizz Air. I explained that they wouldn't let me complete the final step as I am not the booking owner. I told Opodo I had already received emails showing the funds had been returned to Opodo. The Booking agent merely repeated that I needed to speak to Wizz Air.
I am in the process of requesting a chargeback. I would not under any circumstance recommend Opodo. They are without doubt useless.
