I recently booked a ticket from Toronto to London for myself and my cousin. I entered his nickname as his first name as it is what everyone knows him as. When I called to correct the error, they advised me that it would cost $229CDN to correct a name. How is this justified? the name change took a total of 2 minutes to fix on their end, yet the cost is incredibly unreasonable. How do they justify such a steep fee?
