This is a terrible company. My flights out were cancelled due to a storm. But, as confirmed to me by their operator, I would receive a fully refund as I took out the additional insurance. I contacted them the next day and asked for email confirmation, which was provided, including the exact amount and a timescale of 7-would days. After 14 days I chased and was told my case had been escalated and I would receive a call within 24 hours. Two days later I chased again, and was told, again my case had been escalated and I would be contacted within 24 hours. The next time I chased I was told that my insurance backed refund was delayed as the hotel had not refunded Opodo.... not my problem that’s why I paid for the insurance. I was also told that the team it had been escalated to were unlikely to call me. They the. Offered to escalate to the head office in Spain and I would definitely hear with 72 hours... guess what nothing. Their approach seems to be to keep fobbing you off in the hope that you will allow them to keep your money. As it stands I have lost circa £1000. Do not use this company unless you are happy to risk losing all your money and not have a holiday.
