Clip works great. The mini shells would not chamber in my 590 unless you racked the slide really slow, and even then 90 percent of the time they still flipped up.
Once I pushed the mini clip into the bottom of the action they cycle just as fast as the 2 3/4 shells.
Now my 590 can hold 15+1.
