I had looked into surgery before but thought it was too expensive. However, I had spent most of my life wearing glasses and when Intried contacts 3 years ago, I couldnt wear them comfortably. Any time I wanted to wear contact such as to a part of night out, I would be in agony after 2 hours as my eyes were so dry. I tried every type of brand and material but I was getting fed up with it so after one particularly painful evening, I booked my consultation. Everyone I met was helpful, reassuring and everything was explained so well. On the day itself I was so nervous and the surgeon could tell in the surgery room. One of the nurses held my hand throughout the procedure and that made me feel very relaxed. The actually experience wasn't bad at all and even the discomfort when I got home seems well worth it as my quality of life has improved massively. Every single person I dealt with was amazing.
