I've just recently had intraocular surgery in both eyes. This one was a fortnight ago. This one was a week ago. There was no pain, very relaxed during the surgery. It's taken 2 weeks to sort of get over the anaesthetic, but I can see just as I could when I was a young girl. I've been wearing specs all the time for 14 / 40 years and I've just had my eye test and I might just need a half magnification to read very small print, but I notice this week I've been able to do the computer, drive, read a book, read the newspaper, which is marvellous. Most of all I've enjoyed having peripheral vision because my eyesight was quite poor, outside of my spectacles was blurred, so I'm really enjoying it. No pain afterwards, no bloodshot eyes. I got over it really well. I would recommend it.
