I always wore glasses for driving and watching the tv. I had to wear contacts for football. My big problem was if I was out socialising or just out an about in generla without wearing my contacts or glasses, people would wave at me to say hello and it was embarassing when I didnt respond or know who it was. The day after my surgery was like a new beginning - it might sound funny but I'll always remember looking at the wall paper in my hallway from my bed and all of a sudden I could see every fine detail. I opened the window and looked at the mountain, I could see people on top of the mountain!! You gotta do this, life is too short.
