I was treated with care and respect by all the staff, given extra time by the surgeon to speak again with an optometrist to allay certain fears relating to presbyopia, which I appreciated. I experienced some discomfort after the operation, but this was pretty much resolved within 4 hours of surgery. My eyesight steadily improved from the first day and has continued to improve. My previous dry eye conditon has improved notably since dispensing with contact lenses and my vision has actually improved to 20/15 which is better than 20/20 vision. I no longer have to deal with the blurring caused by drying out contact lenses. I am also now free of contacts/glasses for the first time since I was 10 years old, and am going to enjoy this for as long as possible.
