I wish I had had the surgery sooner - it is much easier to swim and do the sports I like now I've had the surgery. It was only the cost that prevented me getting the surgery before and if you think about it I will recoup that cost in a few years now I don't have to pay for lenses, solutions etc... It is literally only a very short time of discomfort on the day of surgery for hopefully a lifetime of improved vision.
