It all happened so quickly. I had my consultation one day and 2 weeks later I had the surgery! I had it done on a Saturday and was back at work on Monday, driving too. The actual procedure was absolutely fine and everyone makes you feel relaxed and reassured throughout. I got the train home (half hour journey) and had my husband with me. I was glad of this as my eyes did naturally seem to close, so I was glad to have his arm to hold onto. When I got home I went for a sleep for a couple of hours and was absolutely fine after that. My vision is fantastic now and wish I had done this years ago. My reading vision is returning slowly and I was advised that this may be the case. Due to my age, my reading vision was starting to deteriorate anyway. I would recommend the surgery to anyone. Brilliant!
