Overall I am happy with the service recieved from Optical Express. From day 1, the staff have been friendly, helpful and readily available.
On the day of my surgery, we did experience a delay of 3 hours due to problems with the air conditioning. I was called prior to coming to the clinic to inform of a 45 minute delay. Whilst I appreciate that this is unavoidable, and the staff were very apologetic, I do feel that 3 hours as a nervous patient was a very long time to wait!
During the surgery I felt comfortable and reassured at all times, and felt that the staff who dealt with me afterwards were exceptional. That evening I experienced discomfort and a lot of watering which lasted for around 24 hours. Since then I have had better than 20/20 vision, which has been fantastic. I am currently experience starburst issues at night however I am assured that this will improve over time.
I would definitely recommend the surgery, and Optical Express, to friends and family.
