Anxiety around surgery is unsettling and pain shortly after surgery and the next day was something I wasn't prepared for. However now on the other side of it with my new dramatically improved vision just think it's amazing how I can see clearly now and I don't take my new eyes for granted. Feel so grateful the surgery was such a success and very happy I no longer have to wear glasses or fiddle around with contacts. It's just wonderful to have these new eyes. It feels absolutely amazing and so wonderful. I'm still in shock to be honest adjusting to life without corrective lenses.
