Having laser surgery was something I had wanted to do for a while, but I felt that I always had other priorities for the money. As I'm 40, I felt it was now or never. I was very nervous before the surgery, but all staff in Edinburgh put me at ease. Jamie from Kirkcaldy store even phoned me 2 days before to wish me luck as he knew I was nervous. There was no pain whatsoever during the procedure. The procedure only lasting 15 mintues in total, was not what I expected and I would do it over again. There is slight discomfort afterwards and it does feel like grit in your eyes, but this does pass and after a sleep you feel much better. After a month, my vision is great and I can honestly say that it was well worth it. The after care is also excellent and Jennifer makes sure that I am using the drops when I should. I would recommend Optical Express and I look forward to many years of vision without glasses.
