Despite what I say below, I would do this all over again, because having near perfect distance vision after wearing glasses and battling with lenses for years is worth it. However:
1. I wish just one of the people who recommended this to me had mentioned how unpleasant the actual sugery is. It's only 5 minutes of discomfort - not painful really, but stomach churning!
2. I am surprised by the extent to which my reading vision has deteriorated as a result of the surgery.
3. The glare/starbursts around lights at night are really noticeable and, after 3 months, not showing signs of getting better. I hadn't expected that. Moreover, I opted for the considerably more expensive wavefront procedure on the basis that it promoted improved night vision! Not the case for me at all - quite the opposite.
4. One of my eyes is better than the other, meaning that there is still room for improvement. A little disappointing, but not beyond what I might have expected.
