Initially the surgery was not as successful as I had hoped. However, I was told I could have more surgery which would improve my vision further. Having had second surgery my eyesight is now really good and I do think it has improved my quality of life> I do a lot of walking in the countryside and not having to wear glasses has made this experience a lot more satisfying.
