I'd worn contact lens for 30 years, and neither glasses or lens were really giving me the level of sight I wanted any more. I couldn't believe how much better my eyes have been since I had surgery and wish I'd had it done sooner. I'm a competitive horse rider, in the GB Squad for Trec (orienteering on horseback) and I can now look forward to many more years competing at the top level of this sport in the UK and abroad.
