It's great not to have to wear glasses for distance, and being able to wear off-the-shelf reading glasses means I can experiment with crazy styles that I wouldn't choose if I had to pay more than a few pounds for them. I can also apply eye make-up which I just couldn't see well enough to do before! It has taken a while for my eyes to settle down but hopefully that won't take too much longer.
