The surgery itself is amazing. Pain free and my eyesight was good that night. I woke up the next day able to see as well as I had with glasses. I struggled to read close up to start but that has got better with time and I'm almost back to where I was before surgery with the bonus of being able to see distance. My vision is better than 20:20 but my left eye still gets a bit dry and blurry. Hopefully this will sort itself out over the coming months. Aftercare is good but I had to book in the 3 month appointment myself. It would be reassuring to have a courtesy call for this. I would recommend Optical Express laser eye surgery to my friends and I wish I had done it sooner.
