I had Lasek 6 months ago and am only now getting used to not wearing glasses! I didn't have a very high prescription (-1.25) but I did have a stigmatism and needed to wear glasses all day as I'm a teacher. I had "better than 20/20 vision" less than 24 hours after surgery.
