The surgery itself was very quick. The only discomfort was a few hours after the surgery I couldn't see anything and had to keep my eyes closed on the way home. I had a little pain and discomfort in my eyes until I slept for a few hours. When I woke up it was unbelievable that I could see everything clearly.
