I did find the surgery a bit nerve racking but I am glad I had it done overall. The journey home was pretty bad on the train because of the bright lights (it was Oct. and dark when I left) and I am glad I took advice and wore sunglasses and had someone to travel home with. I found the post op appointements very reassuring. The staff at Birmingham have always been very pleasant and helpful.
