My heated down vest was a gift and I love it especially the multiple settings. My only recommendation would be to move the battery pack pocket on the women’s vest ‘higher’ (more at waist level than hip level) as it really does take up space and make the hip area tighter while there is plenty of space at the waist. That said I already ordered one for my mom! But we did have the same ‘hip size’ issue with her in a medium and she’s small in the upper body.
