I recieved an ororo heated jacket for christmas 2004from my son and it works extreemly well after 1 month. It heats great, and automatically goes to a lower setting once I feel hot. Don't know how it does this but it should help with the battery power. My only concern is the pocket that the battery goes into. it seem like a light weight material that my fray with the weight of the battery in it all the time. I've had this issue with other jackets where the material will fray then rip. Time will tell if this is the case.
