I was a little concerned it was going to be too puffy to fit under a coat, but it works perfectly both under a coat or as an extra layer over a sweatshirt. It fits well and the crop is perfect. The fabric does get caught in the zip pretty frequently, but it's not annoying enough to knock off a star. Went with a medium for the extra layering space, but I typically wear a small. (5'4" / 160lbs). The heat is just perfect, I haven't needed it above the lowest temp.
