Ordered a new rod, reel and a rod tube on the 11th of June, with special instructions to put the rod inside the tube (which is the only reason I bought the tube).
After 2 weeks of no movement (no status change online)
I sent 2 emails and received no reply at all.
I called and managed to get hold of someone who apologised and said that they forgot to print the order slip and said the will express ship it immediately ( fair enough, accidents happen).
Another 2 days pass without a status change, so I call them again to ask what is going on, to which they inform me that in the meantime they had sold the rod I had already paid for, and will have to wait for new stock to arrive before the order can be shipped and as a gesture of good will would throw a fly in as well.
It finally arrived on the 1st of July within 2 days of leaving the shop. But that was without the bonus fly and with the rod BESIDE the rod tube in a half crushed cardboard box.
When spending $1047 on an order I would hoped for a little more care in the order and at least to read and follow my delivery instructions.
