Liked the quality and fit of the tailgate assist. The fitment time was a little optimistic, it took me over 6 hours to fit this component. The main problem was the threadlock fitted to the retaining bolts on the original Toyota fixings. I recommend that a note is added to the kit for late model toyota hi lux's advising of the difficulty in the removal of the original fixings on the tailgate.
