I stayed in a one bedroom apartment and called Ovo to get a quote of what I’ll be paying, they gave me and everything was fine. Until I called for a different reason one day and at the end of the call a lady suggested they can change my meter to a new one and give me a smart meter reader in my apartment. I foolishly accepted and the new meter was fixed. I just noticed on the app that my old bill and new bill drastically increased and I was in debt of about 650£ in total for that month. I called Ovo tirelessly to resolve this and the customer care service was rude and not helping at all, just in 4months of being with Ovo I spent about or over 800£ and still in debt of 480£ as I drop my review. I switched to a much better provider without any complain.. the epc rating of my apartment is A. This caused me so much distress and Ive come to conclusion on not using ovo in my next life. I even warn family and friends so they wouldn’t end up like me.
