I paid OVO over £3000 for energy bills on an empty house that had one radiator on for six weeks of one year. The house was for sale and advertised as vacant online for 1 year(obvious it was uninhabited/ an empty house). I gave readings just after the resident moved out and paid the bill. Then kept receiving bills. I spent hours on the phone trying to explain there must be a problem with the meter, no one lives there. I was told it would be investigated but all I got was PASTDUE DEBT COLLECTORS. I paid because I don't want a bad credit rating.
