Took car into AAMCO, a reputable dealer, for transmission repair. Diagnosis determined a replacement is necessary. Thirteen (13) days later (TODAY), and still not approved, even after their inspector approved the diagnosis. They seem not to care if I and AAMCO are seriously concerned about the delay, which Ix says is up to their same inspector for final approval. No way to personally talk to the inspector. Dealer has been ready to do the replacement for over 7 days. All customer service can say is they too are waiting for final approval. “Mary” was very argumentative, sarcastic and in polite; absolutely no help!!! Seems as though she could care less about me, a 90 year old, the paying customer who is getting nothing for his monthly premiums of $120 on this valid claim, except loss of vehicle. The whole car care industry seems to be a big scam, rather than an honest, caring insurer who has happy customers!! I feel helpless at the moment, and can not find a supervisor who they will refer me to.
