“My Name is Anthony Baker I am a customer of Ox Car Care sense 06-08-2024. I am so disappointed, so upset with the service and treatment I have been getting with your OX CAR CARE claim service team. My SUV broke down on me when I got to work back in January and it’s still in the shop as of today. waiting for your claim dept. I have given the claim dept. all my information and invoices they wanted. One of your claim representatives named Eric told me, and I quote “we have to protect the company “. I pay on my policy faithfully. But OX CAR CARE has FAITHFULLY disappointed me. I have been very patience. It took OX CAR CARE about 2 months just to reimburse me my tow bill that I paid for to have it towed. Your AD says OX CAR CARE supply us with a complementary rental vehicle. Well, I haven’t received that rental as of today. The dealer have sent the pictures of the timing that OX CAR CARE wanted and they are waiting to fix my SUV. Please, I WANT OX CAR CARE TO STAND BY IT’S WORD and have my LAND ROVER LR4 FIXED ASAP.”
“Initially I thought they were great. Good start up process, seamless payments. Then, I had to cancel because of some health expenses. I went to cancel and it seemed simple, except after I followed instructions and canceled, they called me every day and left multiple unintelligible messages. I told several people that I had cancelled and still they kept calling. Not only did NO ONE respond to me about a refund at all, but they also harassed me. Do NOT get involved with them.”
“Let me start off by saying if I could give this company 0 stars I would. I would not recommend Ox Car Care to anyone. I have been waiting for weeks for approval to get my car repaired, and every time I call, they ask for something new—photos, videos, receipts—and then delay the process by saying it will take 3 to 5 business days each time. It’s a repetitive cycle with no resolution. When I finally submitted everything, my claim was denied without a clear explanation. The customer service is incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. Representatives are rude or unresponsive, and there is no sense of urgency or accountability.
After looking into it, I found many other reviews from people who had similar or even worse experiences.”

I filed a claim on April 2025 and there still has not been a decision to fix or not to fix my car . They gave me the run around with gathering information they needed . Everyday it was something new . Each document submitted took 3-5 days for review !! Terrible!!!! I need my car for work so I’ve been out of work for 4 weeks !!”

I made the mistake of calling Ox Care for a quote. After telling the rep "No thanks" several times and her transferring me to a supervisor to try to get me to sign & also telling him "No"...they are still calling me. I blocked their 800 number and now they are calling from various numbers (different area codes) throughout the day. I feel like I'm being harassed.”
“Beware of Ox Car Care – A Frustrating and Costly Experience
I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with Ox Car Care. After three exhausting weeks of back-and-forth communication regarding a transmission repair that was clearly covered by my policy, I was ultimately denied the claim on the grounds of "pre-existing damage." This was an inaccurate and unfair assessment, as my mechanic explicitly stated that there was no pre-existing issue.
Throughout the process, the claims adjuster handling my case was dismissive and unwilling to listen to my mechanic's professional evaluation. During one phone conversation, she was particularly rude and refused to engage in any meaningful discussion about my claim.
After such a frustrating experience, I made the decision to cancel my policy with Ox Car Care. I will never trust this company again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing coverage. If you're considering Ox Car Care, think twice—this company does not stand by its promises.

“The worst all I get is the run around about being able to use the warranty to cover parts. I will say it sounds good but I’ve realized if it’s to good to be true it is. Definitely not worth the waste of my time and the mechanic shop plus my money that in the hard times we are having needed for other stuff.”
