There are two big things I've learned about this hobby: 1) the bigger, the better. You're basically putting in pixels, so the more pixels you have, the better it looks. I don't go less than 40cm. 2) less shading/blending makes a better looking finished product. They can't make every shade of every color and so shading and blending doesn't look quite right. My Violet Kitty painting is a great example of what I mean. Overall, this is a great hobby and is my go to when I need some stress relief.
