My sample abstract paragraph was edited - upon letting PT know my request to have scientific/engineering editing background - disrupting technical concepts, changing terms for the sake of change, but not editing the logic flow or consistency. When I sent PT my observations, PT said they would ask a sci editor to redo the assignment; but the re-edited abstract was basically what I had already observed. Your web editing advert is pretty good/powerful and it raised big expectations, but clearly scientific/engineering editing is not within you familiar areas of expertise.
