My wife bought the bedding on my behalf. We have come to the stage in life that at the moment we are sleeping in separate beds (medical reasons), I 've gone into the spare room. Part of my treatment has me enduring night sweats, hot flushes and the like, cotton bedding was recommended, we've already got cotton, John Lewis no less. I am no stranger to bamboo products such as underwear, socks and a few shirts, light bulb moment, what about bamboo bedding? give it go. Could not be more pleased with the result, bamboo has not stopped the sweats however I am not throwing the duvet of in the middle of winter and suffering the after shivers, also because the sheets are so smooth I don't find myself having lift myself up to turn over. The pillow case and the mattress protector also help in keeping the temperature down. Maybe we should get bamboo for the other bed and ditch cotton, maybe, that will be for later.
