Mattress cover is silky soft with a lovely sheen. A shame to cover it up! However if you want a lot of cushioning/padding then this won't be thick enough. I ordered the grey bath towels & my husband said they were soft and absorbed well. (I prefer the thin cotton towels I first found in Italy.) the colour is prettier than the rather poor photo (just one) online depicts, though rather bluer than I wanted. More than 3 colours would be better. Finally, the sturdy cardboard boxes for the towels appear to have a plasticised coating & there's no indication they can be recycled, tho I put them in with other recycling. Service was very fast and everything was in perfect condition.
