When you are making a large purchase, and there is an issue, Customer Service really comes into play. In December 2019, I ordered a 75 inch Samsung Q80R from Parker Gwen. It arrived quickly, in an sealed box, with no apparent damage. It wasn’t until I actually turned it on that I noticed the internal screen was cracked. I immediately emailed Parker Gwen customer service and in minutes received a response promising I would be taken care of.
They immediately offered to replace the damaged TV, but the model was sold out nationally. They offered me a replacement of a different model for the price difference, a the sale price at the time of my original purchase. I accepted. They immediately sent the replacement and once I was completely satisfied sent someone to pick up the original damaged TV.
Oh, and did I mention, the price of both TV’s on sale, with their first time customer discount was less than the big box stores.
We need more companies like Parker Gwen.
