Without warning or explanation, £288 was taken from my account. When I called customer service, they refused to explain the charge and told me to “read the statement myself.” When I pushed for answers, they abruptly ended the call.
This is not a one-off — the same thing happened to my neighbor. PayPal is taking money without consent or transparency. This is theft, plain and simple. I’m closing my account and urging others to do the same. We need to speak out before more people are affected.
