Spent well over 30 minutes, trying to link a card talking to customer and talking to a stupid automated system to find out. I can’t link a card to make a payment. How stupid Ahmed over in India did not help asking absolutely moronically stupid questions credit account.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Scum the lot of them! PayPal is the worst! Their call center drives me nuts—it's like talking to a wall! They have absolutely no idea how to help customers. And the respect? Forget it; they don’t have any. They just grab your money, put it on hold, and then disappear without a word. It’s ridiculous! I hate this company so much. I'm done with them forever. If I could give them less than zero, I would. They are scum!

They did nothing for me. I called them 10 minutes after the order once I found it was a Chinese company. I have had 2 occasions where I got burnt. They said it was to late then I received nothing from the company and they took there side. So they called me a liar and took my money.

I would have given 0 stars but that is not an option. Like many other customers pointed out, PayPal allows their customers to get scammed by seller’s even when there is a PayPal guarantee. I order a pair of boots that came in and were NOT as described and pictured on the seller’s website. After getting nowhere with the seller, I filed a complaint with PayPal and provided all the information that they requested along with various photos of the product I received and how the product was presented on seller’s website. PayPal denied my claim saying that the product received was not “significantly different.” It is “significantly different” to me, the buyer, or I would not have filed a complaint! Paypal does not protect the customer from scammers. Instead, PayPal provides a platform where scammers are able to sell cheap products to unknowing customers and then does nothing to prevent the seller from continuing their fraud. I will NEVER use PayPal again. They are a joke. BUYER BEWARE!

PayPal is by far one of the worst most unorganized company's I have ever delt with, they went so far as to call a seller behind my back and try to make a screw up that was 100% their fault seem like mine , that's it for me I'm canceling my account. Their customer service is run and staffed by idiots .

I had purchased a couple of Seller (Alive Pixels Online Services LLP) claimed "1200 and 1000 TC high quality Egyptian cotton sheet sets". The sheets which I received were the cheapest sheer see through sheets. My 400 TC Egyptian sheet are much thicker than these, in addition, there were no labels, and no description on the package, the only paper that they included was showing that they send two cheap sheet which was only $60. which was about 1/3 what I paid. I have tried to contact the seller 3 times since the delivery. NEVER heard back from the seller, via reaching out to Paypal, I finally heard back from Seller. Here was what they said in their reply "Dear buyer, Thank you for reaching out to us, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced. Upon reviewing your order details and the item delivered, we found that it matched the description provided on the webpage. Additionally, we provided both items in 1200TC, even though one was initially ordered as 1000TC. The white stripe variant is one of our best-selling products, and due to the natural behavior of cotton, it may require some time to become softer with each wash. Firstly, we would like to clarify that the thickness and durability of cotton sheets, whether striped or solid, are not solely determined by their initial appearance. While solid sheets may appear thicker initially, it's essential to understand that both types of sheets undergo a process of softening and becoming more dense with each wash. The striped cotton sheets you received will also become thicker, softer, and more durable over time. The nature of cotton fabric allows it to absorb moisture and expand with each wash, resulting in a denser and more luxurious feel. Therefore, any perceived difference in thickness between the solid and striped sheets is likely to diminish with continued use and washing". who do you think they tried to fool? it does not take someone who has a have a textile degree to tell what is real 1200 / 1000 TC sheets. Alive Pixels Online Services LLP at the end agreed to refund me however, they refused to address the international shipping cost. I then contacted Paypal. Paypal seems to go out of there way to do nothing to protect their customers. instead, I was forced to pay for more than $90s return shipping, and I was provided very short time. if Seller claims that they do not receive the goods back, the case will be closed in seller's favor. in my case, paypal did not care my questioning that the shipping and return address which were provided by the seller were total different ones... Paypal has become an unsafe platform that scammers, thieves and all sorts of criminal types are using openly, without any kind of action taken by Paypal to stop it or protect us. As you can see from my attached conversation records on Paypal with Alive Pixels Online Services LLP. They are clearly try to use counterfeit cheap goods and scam the customer. Paypal did nothing to help protect the customer, and fight for the customer.

automated IT can freeze your account without any solution Money has been locked in a frozen account by an automated IT system for 2 weeks. I've verified my identity over phone and within my account multiple times. Customer service agents change every day without reading previous conversations. Hopeless process, and infuriating. In November 2024 I ordered a medical watch from Medwatch. The watch did not hold a charge & took a long time to charge, once that done it would forget all info entered. Medwatch is actually NNLLC a Chinese company (I did not know this until product deliver). I contacted company threw email & they did not see concerned or want to issue a refund). As I purchased thru PayPal I contacted them. They contacted NNLLC, who responded by offering me a partial refund $126.00 on $187.91 I paid. I refused why should they get over $60.00 of my money. PayPal response was to take 6 months to decide not to give me a refund. I did everything PayPal asked of me. Returned item which cost me $10.95. Eventually I contacted my credit card company & filed, PayPal sent me an email telling me to cancel my request from my credit card company & they would refund right away. I did, but they didn't, more time went by & I went back to my Credit card company & because I had cancelled as PayPal told me to they would not reopen my case. So hear I sit a handicap senior citizen living on a low income without my money & without a working health watch. My advice DoNot use PayPal!!!! Medwatch is a SCAM & PayPal allows it.

I've been with paypal for 11 years and during that time they seem to go out of there way to do nothing to protect their customers. Paypal has become an unsafe platform that scammers, thieves and all sorts of criminal types are using openly, without any kind of action taken by Paypal to stop it or protect us. My account has been targeted multiple times and all attempts to get help from Paypal fell on someone's do nothing screen. My latest issue has me deciding to end my time with Paypal after someone used paypal to charge me for Doordash each month. Paypal refused to help, the Doordash info on paypal was bogus, actual Doordash has no transaction history with me or my bank card which doesn't seem to matter to Paypal, if the transaction is complete your stuck, once I had all the information I contacted my bank who were happy to help, but then I had another Paypal issue, I had a pay in 4 going through on the bank card we just closed due to the doordash, so I needed paypal to change the payment so I wouldn't default. Paypal said they can't do that either, and told me to cancel the charge with the seller. I'm not returning a phone I bought because paypal is too lazy to help out. I'm done, paypal is a service with ZERO customer service. I'm transferring my accounts out of Paypal and to my bank. If you have the option, don't waste your time with paypal, go research and find a better option that will protect you during times of trouble.

They disputed a transaction that I never asked them to dispute. I ordered a device from a company called FIXD in early March 2024. It's a car scanner. It was 21.19. I paid via Paypal with my Bank of America account. On March 20th and March 21st, Paypal and my bank sent me emails, stating they declined transactions for 99.99 from FIXD. Unfortunately, one of these transactions went through. At the time, my bank account has 29 and some change in there, so my account was overdrawn about 79 and some change. I called the company, FIXD, and asked them why they charged me for their subscription service without consent. They cancelled the charge. I called my bank and was ready to do a dispute, the bank told me to give FIXD a few days to sent the funds back. The funds returned the next day. On Paypal, the 99.99 has an X through it from 3/21. Fast forward to 3/29, FIXD charged 99.99 again and it went through on my bank's end. I had to dispute on 4/1 because that was a holiday weekend. My bank asked me to call Paypal to see if they had proof of the transaction since they're the third party. Paypal said they do not have any evidence that the 99.99 from 3/29 went through. It even showed in their app. I pursued a dispute with my bank over the 99.99. Funds started being returned 4/3. Paypal gave funds on 4/3 as well, then took them back, overdrafting my account on 4/4 and locking my Paypal account. I called them today, 4/8, and asked them what happened. They told me that they sent funds to the bank on 4/3. Then took it back. I never asked them to send funds. They then claimed that I disputed the charge on 3/21. I never did. Then claimed it was over the 3/29 charge that they have no history of. Regardless, I never disputed the charge with Paypal. Now, I have to pay back 99.99 that I never disputed. I can't even pay off the small loan I have there without paying off this debt that has nothing to do with me. The millisecond I get paid, I'm paying the debt off, the loan, and closing my accounts, then asking my bank to block Paypal from ever accessing my account again.

Please be aware there are many fraud companies created in the name of PayPal, one of such company is paypal 40, they stole my credit card information and swiped USD 1300, banks honored the payment without OTP, when I checked with the bank, they do not ask for OTP because it is from PayPal, but the real truth is there is fraud company in the name of PayPal, banks are not aware because the company is in the name Of PayPal, I would suggest to avoid paypal transaction in future as they do not require OTP. Please contacted paypal, they said they won’t be able to help me on this . Pls stay away from paypal

I am owed a refund from PayPal account. It was supposed to have been refunded in 180 days and this was back in 2021 It is now 3/2024.Yet, I still have not received a refund nor have I heard from them. Each time I call to find out about My refund my call gets disconnected or I'm brushed off with an excuse you will receive an email concerning your refund. Do not trust Pay Pal with your money. It has been over 2 years and I have still not received an email. I gave a one star because I could not put a zero. I am very disappointed with the service I have received.

Without a doubt, PayPal Credit's Fraud Department is behind the mass scams going on with clients' accounts. Just like most of the others who have left feedback, money has come up missing, and I caught them lying about it from the beginning. I put money into an online wallet, which they returned within two hours; I hadn't bought anything with it, and it was simply for future work. I confronted them right away about the missing money in August, and they said I had reported it as fraud, which was a complete lie. I have proof. I immediately said that I never claimed it was fraud; someone at PayPal Credit did. I began to ask for proof of me reporting it as fraud because I could have withdrawn it. That's when they admitted on three occasions that someone from the Fraud Department performed the return. Then, they would claim I did, then they would claim they did. Now again, they are claiming I did and had bought something with it. However, I don't believe they contacted the company because you don't purchase when you put money in the wallet. You add money to your wallet and then decide to purchase, so what they were saying didn't add up. The other company provided a refund number, saying they refunded it right away in August. I have eight official letters from them confirming it was returned, and PayPal Credit is falsely claiming they didn't and kept it for products I received, which is not true at all. The way they described why they kept the money doesn't make sense in terms of how this company does business. They kept telling me to talk to the other company, sending me in circles. Not to mention, I never requested the money to be returned; the PayPal Credit Fraud Department did, and now it's lost. I shouldn't be responsible for it; they initiated it. I have official correspondence where I'm telling the company I never requested the money be taken out of my wallet in August. Come to October 7, 2023, they had made a new account and forwarded the $1,227.00, making me pay for it. It's crazy how the money I caught them lying about ended up missing and, months later, was forwarded to my account. Now, they are making me pay for something they did in the first place. Not only do I have to pay for the missing money that they returned, but now they are also making me pay interest on it. I filed official police reports and contacted the Better Business Bureau. The Fraud Department is pocketing all this money; it's clear to see, with all these similar stories of PayPal Credit creating new accounts without clients' permission or knowledge, forwarding balances, pretending not to understand anything you're saying, spinning you in circles, and making up stuff that doesn't make sense. Too many of us are experiencing money just disappearing. It's going somewhere into someone's pocket, which isn't fair to us as consumers. Be very aware of the scams and fraud being committed by them and use caution.

After holding the money for weeks which was outside sellers policy for return (15 days) they closed the case… they are still holding the money while I’m appealing with more documentation. Their representative gave me a different information each time I called.

Terrible terrible terrible... hacked a week ago by "Peter from Paypal". 18 transactions in one day by names never used on my account. They were able to deposit and withdraw, even in Euro's. Activity NEVER done in all the years I had PP. Should have been suspicious and denied by PP, like my other credit accounts did!!!! Never, ever trust PP again. Still, after over 2 hrs on the phone with the fraud dept, fake names of thieves in my "send again" still on account...I am glad I looked there, certainly PP didn't tell me to make sure of what was there. Paypal is NOT to be trusted anymore. And what I saw on my accounts, they couldn't, which was weird. The scammers deposited funds then took them back out all day. Even in Euro's!!!!
