When I requested PayPal monthly payments for a $1500 camera, PayPal ran it through all at once and did not process this correctly. They refused to cancel the transaction and put the owners all on me and the merchant. If I could file a lawsuit I would they refused to do anything on their end.

Be careful with this company. A large amount of unauthorized charges were made with my account and they promised since January that they would refund my money and they have not done this yet. Every time I call, they promise to review the charges and refund me my money and they have not done so. I will be pursuing legal action if this is not rectified. In the mean time, everyone should know that PayPal is neither credible, trustworthy, nor has any fiduciary concerns for its clients. I will never use them again and I encourage others to stick with using their direct payment cards or to use other payment providers. -Josh

Paypal is not good. There is no customer value. I was loyal customer for a long time but I just ran into an issue and I had to call Paypal to dispute an issue but Paypal doesn't really care about their customer because they are giving them false information. I didn't have a good experience and I didn't fell value as a customer. If that is the case then I wouldn't be using it anymore. I would rather use another service that value their customer. If you are going to use Paypal think carefully and do your research first. Don't fall for it like me.

Without warning or explanation, £288 was taken from my account. When I called customer service, they refused to explain the charge and told me to “read the statement myself.” When I pushed for answers, they abruptly ended the call. This is not a one-off — the same thing happened to my neighbor. PayPal is taking money without consent or transparency. This is theft, plain and simple. I’m closing my account and urging others to do the same. We need to speak out before more people are affected. I

I have used PayPal for years and have always trusted it for secure transactions—until now. On February 17, 2025, I purchased merchandise from a candle company, Paradise Supply, in Paradise, PA, expecting it to ship within 3–5 days, as stated on their website. After weeks with no updates and no response to multiple emails, I contacted PayPal for help. They contacted the vendor and later informed me that my order would arrive on March 25, 2025. So, I waited. The 25th came and went—no package. When I followed up with PayPal, expecting a refund, I was shocked to learn that my case had already been closed in favour of the vendor on March 22—three days before the supposed delivery date! The PayPal agent told me nothing could be done. PayPal then suggested I contact my bank, Chase. However, Chase informed me that because I paid via PayPal ACH transfer, I had no recourse for a refund—they only cover transactions made directly with a debit card. So now, I have no merchandise, no refund, and no support from either PayPal or my bank. What’s the point of using PayPal if they don’t protect buyers? I will think twice before ever using PayPal again. Customer service is truly a thing of the past. Buyer beware.

Paypal is a terrible business for credit card payment processing. They withhold large amounts of cash for opaque reasons and are impossible to reach. Horrid large corporation.

Would give zero stars if I could. 7 days trying to get payment issues resolved, and they keep telling me it's the bank or vendors fault. I have gone in circles 3 times. It is not the bank, and has been blocked with multiple vendors. All you get is wait "x" hours and try again/pay outside of paypal. So far in a week I have waited 72 hours, 48 hours, and currently on 24 hours before they will "escalate" it to someone to fix it. Scripted repetitive answers and restarted chats daily. 👎

PayPal supports scammers. Doesn’t refund scam payments and will refuse to close your account , sells your card details to scammers. Don’t use. Never got refund of 65gbp because PayPal are awful scammy c u n t s

i paid throug Paypal on the site eleganza-milano (awful site) , i never received the package. i have opened the reclamation in paypal to be refunded adding all info also from the shipper sayign that they did not know to who was delivered the package. But still Paypal closed the case in favor of the seller. I called and the rep Miguel was saying that i was lying !!! I asked him if he could fine any prove that the product was delivered and he could not but still saying the product was delivered. PAYPAL as it is now is completely useless and not to be used

PayPal is supporting a Chinese Company who is doing business pretending to be "NORDSTROM CLEARANCE" Oh sure, I received my refund. But, PayPal will not sever it's relationship with this fraudulent vendor even after I advised them that I had emails from Nordstrom stating that this vendor is not associated with Nordstrom and that Nordstrom does not ship anything directly from China. Here are the various names this company from China has used: Normalty.com nonthelasa.com nosendoly.com neaturall.com

Stay clear as this has been the biggest nightmare of my life. They trick you into investing with all their lies and tactics. They are not a real company and have no address as the FCA warned me they are a scam. I tried to close my account and withdraw when I had over €445k but they continued to make excuses not to give me my money. The platform is fake your money does not go in the market they steal your money through opening a cointandem account and buy bitcoins with your money into different bitcoin wallet addresses. The company credit is fake, the bank details are not theirs it’s cointandems. They knew I had a daughter and I was unwell and they continued to gaslight me. Adi Reed who worked with them got close to me and told me it was a scam and introduced me to TheresachinRecovery INC he told me they're the best team to help me as they've given them a lot of problems lately by helping most victims in breaking their severs successfully, TheresachinRecovery INC passed excellently cause they did exactly what I was told they're capable of. Tried to send money to someone on Paypal but it said I needed to verify me. So I rang up for a 20 minute phone call. The customer service person tried a few things, whilst on the phone he had me attempt to make payment 8 times. Every time it failed. After 20 minutes, the staff members solution was "use something other than Paypal to send the money". Amazing.
