I've been using PayPal for auto payments to subscriptions for Apps needed for my business. I chose to use PayPal because they are supposed to be great in dealing with scams and hacks - THEY ARE NOT. I have 2 subscriptions with a company that total about $80/month. Yesterday I received a notification that a payment of $420 was made to that company. I have never purchased anything for that sum of money to be taken out at one time. Since payments have been going thru PayPal for this company, PayPal automatically decided that all transactions with that company are "authorized". Customer service is as useless as teets on a hog. They have done nothing but deny me no matter how much proof I provide. The email address PayPal provided me with to contact the company they sent the money to is not valid per that company. There is no record with that company that I owed or have paid that money. The money went somewhere, but no-one can tell me where.

Paypal support is the worst I've ever dealt with. They tied up my money for weeks saying the money was at coinbase when in fact the transaction had been cancelled and it was sitting in my account at paypal the whole time. I finally had to go through my BOA account to get the money back. Once I did that, the money was back in my account in seconds. Too bad their support people can't be bothered to even look at my account or they would have seen the repeat button under the transaction because it didn't go through. Closing account I refuse to do business with a company with a that offers such unresponsive and can't be bothered support.

I invested a total of $743k on a binary option platform after several weeks i tried to make some withdrawals to my bank but the withdrawal wasn’t successful, i quickly contact the platform costumer care via email and phone number they provided in their contact info but didn’t get a response from them that was when everything started looking weird. A few weeks later I got a mail from them requesting that i should invest more money if I want to withdraw my money which i rejected, and I never heard from them again that was when I knew I’m about being screwed. i was really devastated at those moment and felt so bad that my hard earned money was gone. After some months I came across a lot of testimonies on the web on how Lisa Elizabeth had helped many people recovered their stolen, scammed or duped money on bitcoin or any other form in digital currency. I contacted them and they promised to help me get my money back asked me some info about the company i invested with which I provided. The result was amazing I recovered all my Lost funds back within a space of 73 hours I was so happy as I never believe I could get my money back. Thanks to Lisa Elizabeth , There are on WhatsApp::: +1 310 658 0921 or Email: ( lisaellzabet 662 @ gm ail . com ) HER MAIL

Pay in three is a scam, most of the time it doesn't work and when it does work you get refused plus why does it always say my address is wrong when clearly it isn't.

Paypal processes invoices from truthfinder.com, which fraudulently scams multiple monthly payments from victims without any prior communication. Paypal helps enable this scam and refuses to help victims recover their money. I'd give Paypal negative stars if it was possible.

PayPal has been getting worse and worse every day and now you have commercials with an idiot named Will Ferrell. I have stopped using PayPal and never will again. This is a typical company that started out great and is now an insult to the human race. And he used Will Ferrell as your spokesperson really shows how ridiculous the corporate world is by picking idiots to represent them. Will Ferrell is the most obnoxious human being that lives. Let’s see how long it takes before you go out of business.

I decided to invest in Bitcoin. I applied to a ad on Facebook and was approached by different companies offering their services, I chose Investing and started with the minimum amount. It seemed to be growing steadily and one day I was contacted by A Richard Forbes who wanted to know if I would like to withdraw money from my account. e saidI couls withdraw 20,000.00US but I would have to show that I was liquid. I only had 15,000.00 in my bank and I sent them some which he said would go right back into my bank along with the 20,000.00US This went on for three weeks. He had more excuses why I couldn"t get my money, Finally I received 6000.00+ into my account and they withdrew 600.00 which was all I had left from my original 15,000.00 the rest had been withdrawn by them. I was told not to worry and they were just waiting for the money to go through. Well I didn't have to wait long the 60,000.00 disappeared I never received a penny of my 15,000.00 back and I was left with 10.91 in my bank. I had bills due and no money to pay them with. I am 73 and live on a Government pension of 5,340.00 a month it had taken me forever to save that much money only to be scammed. My advice is do not believe anything you read on company web sites. Do not let anyone into your banking information. If you were scammed change your bank card and log in and pin numbers, Do not deal with Investing as they are not what they claim to be they are scammers. AVOID AVOID!!!!!! However, I've received a REFUND a few days ago after contacting (E V I D E N T L T D ) for assistance.

I paid a small Roofing Company through PayPal and they kept this man's money so he couldn't pay his workers. They have been saying their reviewing the incident and it's now going on 3 weeks. The 2 payments cleared on my credit card but paypal decided to hold his last payment. Please beware of sending money through this company when doing big jobs.

Paypal is definitely protecting scammers. I had two transactions recently that I sought a refund on. Both times the seller turned out to be a Chinese scammer. I submitted all the evidence to Paypal, including pre-existing reports to Scamwatch and police. They didn't even bother to read my complaint, let alone look at any of the attachments I sent. I pushed things further, providing more evidence not just of how I'd been scammed, but also how this particular seller was operating dozens of fraudulent businesses in Australia. Paypal ignored that too. They've also refused refunds on faulty goods, goods that were nothing like what I ordered, and goods that never arrived. Paypal definitely don't protect the customer and actually make it deliberately hard to seek a refund. On top of that, they charge an extra 10c in every dollar on top of the current exchange rate from AUD to USD (and other currencies). That's not fees and charges which are additional, but them deciding what the exchange rate is and setting it 10c higher than the actual exchange rate, and then they prevent you from having the currency exchange handled by your bank or another institution. Paypal collects that extra money. And then there's their policy of holding on to your money (when you've been paid) so you can't access it, sometimes for weeks. Their customer service is non-existent and I'm doubtful that any complaint is handled by anything other than a bot issuing form-responses. So as well as not standing by their own, much-advertised customer protection policy, they actively support scammers and are themselves defrauding customers. Maybe it's time all the disgruntled customers got together and started a class action against Paypal?

Bitterly disappointed with paypal. I I purchased payment protection for an item via paypal. The item was completely off and looks nothing as advertised. Paypal would not help. Refused my appeal too and have no humanity in them at all. They support dodgy sellers and I deleted paypal and will never use them again. Please don't use them. save your time, effort, and stress. Please don't.

When I tell u I am tired of PayPal and their deceptive business practices. How can PayPal charge a persons account with a late fee when the payment was made on time? And when the person files a complaint and asks that the late fee be reversed you want to say that the complaint isn't a valid billing dispute. Taha, I beg to differ. If I made My payment on time and provided proof from my checking account that the payment was made on time how can the claim be denied on the basis that it doesn't meet PayPals criteria as a valid billing complaint. I'm confused and would like to have the late fee reversed. It's not my fault that PayPal chooses to post the payment 2 to 3 days later when the payment was made on time but for PayPal to charge the account a incorrect late fee is beyond corrupt business practices and needs to be addressed. REFUND please

Since Elon sold PayPal the service has dramatically gone downhill. Given my last complaint about a purchase & PayPals handling of my complaint I wouldn't recommend them at all.

My Paypal account was hacked at a football game. I only noticed because I started receiving emails asking me to create an account for tickets I did not purchase. I contacted PP immediately via my app to report fraud. The app told me "this action is not available for this transaction at this time". What?? So I called my bank to report fraud. They blocked the transaction and all the headache that went with it for me. I tried to contact PP via phone but was told there was a problem in the system and they could not access my account at this time. Then PP tried another form of payment, my credit card! PP did not even alert me that they were having "problems" with payment and were trying another method. So luckily, my CC alerted me of the charge to which I called and reported fraud on the CC since I was unable to solve the problem with PP. I have since been able to contact PP, have closed the account, (which took 4 phone calls, endless amounts of wait time, AND a waiting period of 5 days) and reported it as fraud. I thought my PP problems were over, but no. I just found out 2 weeks after the fraud, PP has found an old debit card, not even currently linked to the account and charged it!!! I am so furious. All PP cares about is getting paid. There is no customer service and they don't care about you or fraud. Do not trust them with your security. They are not secure.
